The GPS Cradle Status Tool app is a simple utility application for use with the Dual-brand GPS Cradle products (models XGPS300, XGPS251, XGPS200). The app will let you know when your location has been determined, or if the GPS Cradle is still searching for satellite signals. If you own the model XGPS300 GPS Cradle, and prefer not to keep the NavAtlas navigation application installed on the iPod touch, Dual recommends installing this app on your iPod touch. The XGPS300 will recognize the GPS Cradle Status Tool app, avoiding the need to acknowledge the pop-up message which appears if the XGPS300 is turned on without NavAtlas installed on the touch.
